Art Nouveau Wooden Box

We love Art Nouveau here at Click Antiques and this box has a copper plaque which is the very epitome of The New Art. 

The wonderfully patinated plaque features a Belle Epoch maiden kissing a birdall surrounded by a gorgeous whiplash design. Made in the early part of the 20th century this box would make a great trinket or jewellery container. 

It is in excellent condition with no issues whatsoever.
