Rare Vicke Lindstrand 'Contour' Vase

This is one of our favourites. A rare 'Contour' series vase for Kosta Boda by the legendary Vicke Lindstrand (1904-1983).

Made in Sweden in 1958/9, the glass design is ahead of its time, almost visionary. It is fully marked to the base with L for Lindstrand, H for Hyttabete for hand-blown & 1419 which indicates style & date. 

This vase is in very good used condition and has minor signs of age & use which could be polished out, but no cracks or breaks. This is reflected in the price.
