This fabulous solid silver tea set would grace any afternoon tea table.
Superbly hand crafted at the height of the Art Deco period, this set is a joy to behold. It is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1929 and was created by the renowned silversmiths S Blanckensee & Son Ltd.
Founded in Bristol in 1826 by Solomon Blanckensee a dealer in jewellery. After moving to Birmingham his firm grew rapidly in size and with the variety of its products. They had few rivals in the jewellery industry. Solomon died in 1863 and was succeeded by his two sons.
These items are in excellent used condition with clear hallmarks.
