Very Rare Pair of Finnish Enamel & Silver Spoons

We are offering this very rare piece of football memorabilia for sale. 

This stunning pair of silver gilt and enamel spoons were officially awarded to the players who represented Scotland in the World Cup Qualifier which was played in Finland on the 27/05/1965. The team included the great Dennis Law, Scotland won the match 1-2, but didn't go on to qualify for the 1966 World Cup. The spoons are engraved "Suomi vs Scotland 27/05/65".

These demi-tasse spoons are of the highest quality and the feather effect enamelling is first class. They are fully hallmarked on the reverse and we're crafted by Holger Lindström of Helsinki. 

These spoons have never been used or cleaned and are in mint condition. They come complete with their original silk lined box, which has signs of age and use.
