Hallmarked Sterling Silver Tea Set (4 Pieces)

This wonderful four piece tea set was expertly created by the renowned Adie Brothers. Adie Brothers Ltd is based in Birmingham, however, they also had their silverware assayed in London. Their hallmark was originally registered around 1902 as Adie Brothers but a new hallmark was registered in 1922 when they became a limited company.

The superb tea set consists of four pieces. The teapot, sugar & cream/milk were all assayed in Birmingham in 1932. The coffee pot appears to have been added slightly later in 1939. All four parts carry the Adie Bros makers mark. 

They set is in very good used condition with clear hallmarks. 

Teapot 635g (Gross Weight), Sugar Pot 219g, Cream/Milk 148g, Coffee Pot 584g (Gross Weight) = 1586g (Gross Weight)
