Art Nouveau WMF Bonboniere

This wonderful Art Nouveau Bonboniere in the form of a basket was created in the early part of the 20th century by the renowned WMF (Wurrtemburgische Metallwarenfabrik) of Germany. 

Dating to between 1905 - 1910 this wonderful basket carries the makers stamp on the stem of its gorgeous whiplash handle. 

This piece is very tastefully decorated with a a three ring and clover motif encircling the upper part of the basket itself which is rounded of with the sinuously curved handle. It even comes complete with its original hand-blown glass liner which 8s so fine, it's a minor miracle it has survived over 100 years. 

This piece is in excellent condition with no issues whatsoever.
